Last month Abrel jetted out to the Philippines where we had taken a stand for three days at PSECE 2018 in Manila. PSECE is the biggest annual industry event produced by SEIPI and the premier event for Semiconductor testing in the Philippines. It has become an important date in the calendar for companies globally, with many travelling to the event from all around the world.
Over 6,000 industry professionals from leading semiconductor and electronic manufacturers attended PSECE over the three days and it was great to network and meet so many interesting people. We were also lucky enough to meet up with a number of current clients throughout the event.
SEIPI and PSECE
SEIPI (the Semiconductor and Electronics Industries in the Philippines Inc.) is the biggest and most prestigious organisation that represents more than 300 semiconductor and electronics businesses, both international and domestic, within the Philippines.
This year PSECE was held at the fabulous SMX in Manila, a purpose-built convention centre and a great setting for our Stand. The Abrel team had three really busy days as we showcased all of our latest product offerings including, Burn-in Boards, Bibtest55XL tester and Endzone BI System.
We had plenty of visitors to the booth from some the world’s leading Semiconductor companies and it was fantastic to make so many new connections.
Abrel in the Philippines
The Philippines is now Abrel Product’s largest export market and we supply most of the Semiconductor companies in the region and are continuing to meet new clients in South East Asia on a regular basis. In fact, 2018 marks our 20th year exporting to the region! We have also been working with our sales and services partner in the region, Fit-In Trade, for 15 years.
Recently we supplied 2 Endzone Burn-in Systems in the Philippines and have won several new contracts in China. Our Endzone Burn-in System has become an industry standard platform form Semiconductor companies right around the world and naturally we had a lot of enquires during PESCE this year.
Enterprise Ireland have always been very supportive, and we were invited along to the Peninsula Hotel in Manila for a delicious dinner and an excellent networking event hosted but the Irish Ambassador Mr. Geoffrey Keating and Irish Consul Robert Trota.
Mr. Keating also popped along to our stand at PSECE as you can see in the photo!
Thanks to Enterprise Ireland for the Tweet and continued support……
