January 2025 saw a change of ownership at Abrel with the company being acquired by Joe Powell. At the outset, Joe set about introducing a new leadership strategy based on Six Sigma principles and methodologies. Key innovative business projects were identified focusing on the upgrading of processes and procedures, introduction of AI and improvements in sustainability along with substantial investment in R&D. The introduction of new work practices and culture to Abrel early in the year continues to see an increase in employee participation, flexibility and improved employee satisfaction levels. Throughout 2025 the application of Joe’s new vision for Abrel has seen increased growth in the global market within which Abrel operates with beneficial alliances and collaborations continuing to be developed.
